Sick Of Being Fat

I've always been a big girl compared to my friends and my sisters, but when I was younger I never let that stop me. I always played soccer and softball and was always outside doing something or other so my weight never became an issue.
These days I spend more time behind a desk than doing anything else and my weight has ballooned to 210 pounds... way more than I ever thought I would be, so now it's diet time for me and I'm not looking back until I reach my goal weight of 150 pounds. 

I know I have my work cut out for me because 60 pounds is a lot of weight but I have a good plan. I read an article about Medifast and how effective it is and I'm going to give it a shot. I'm not getting my hopes up on the taste, it probably sucks for a foodie like me to eat freeze dried shakes but if it means I get down to my goal weight before my cousin Becky's wedding then I'm going to be all over it and I'm not looking back!

So I’m going to try that plus I just joined Planet Fitness here and I’m going to hit the treadmill hard every morning before I go to work. Fortunately I go in to work at 10 every day so It’s not the end of the world to get up early to go to the gym. Plus it helps that I don’t get stuck waiting in line for the elliptical machine while all the early birds fight over it on their way to work.

When I’m done with Medifast I’m going to start eating right and cutting out a lot of the junk food that I would always eat pretty much every day. I’m bringing a salad for lunch, and I’m cutting out greasy pizza at night and cooking instead.
We always got pizza because I was too lazy to cook so I’m going to learn how to cook, in a healthy way, and prepare things ahead of time so that way I don’t have to worry about breaking down because I’m tired or crunched for time, I can just take it out of the fridge and throw it in the oven. Talk about lazyproofing my life!

So that’s my plan, I think it’s a pretty reasonable setup and I’m not sure that the plan alone will help me lose as much weight as I want to but I will get pretty close and if I hit 160 instead of 150 then that’s ok for me. I’ll still be sexier than everyone else anyway! :)
